I remember here in the UK, the TV News Media showed MLKs, 'I Have A Dream !' speech. I remember being puzzled that Black people in the US, ' the land of the free!' didnt have equal rights. That makes sense, genius Paul McCartney making it sound so innocent to those that dont know.
Im a Beatles fan from the 1960s, I rarely like covers as they are rarely as good as the original. In my view.
However the backing singers do a really good job and I found myself thinking how the Beatles would have done it ... if they had, possibly, like this.
Its a good effort by Beyonce and the Country singers telling Nashville to wise up. I hope it works.
The song sounds good the backing singers did a great job, it may grow on me, the more I hear it.
However why the extra i in the blackbird title. Is there a reason? cause it doesn't make sense to me.

The main vocal isn't quite right . She really should have redone it from scratch and changed the key by a few semitones. Using McCartneys original guitar was a nicer thought but it leaves her vocal at a weaker part of her range .
