The Jonas brothers co-wrote this with her so they did the backing vocals for the old version, and now i'm assuming Nita did it this time. Truly symbolic full circle moment- she no longer affiliates with joe specifically and this song is so bittersweet given how much she has had to go through under the hands of lalaland hollywood.

this re-recording is fantastic. it still makes me insanely sad of how things have turned out for her. well... I guess La La Land won the battle against her 'staying the same'. this is not meant to be toxic against Demi, though. it's about how the industry is so unbearable, overwhelming, burdening and devastating towards the young talented people... they don't stand a chance.
