I miss the small groups/worships/biblical seminars/excitements of summer retreats I had back in youth group. A lot has changed since then, but the Lord has shown me goodness and mercy despite countless mistakes stemmed from misdirection and lack of faith. A wise man told me that, "...When you look at the world, you will be distressed. When you look at yourself, you will be depressed. When you look at God, you will be at rest." Thank you Lord for bringing me to this current place. I do hope to become more closer to you as I was back in youth group, when I carelessly spent day in and day out practicing and singing songs of worship, looked forward to every sunday's, and prayed regardless of circumstance and predicament. When I have spent more waking hours selfishly focusing on myself, my career, my studies, and my family, you have silently been there, always showing me love, hoping for me to return back to you in faith, like a father waiting for his lost son. And for that, I am sorry. I love you lord, my savior, my love, my father, my spiritual counselor, I love you.
